"I really do like what I do - and how many people can say that?" - Tall Paul
Tall Paul (Paul Bobal) was born in Cleveland, Ohio and raised in Virginia Beach, VA, where he played keyboards in "garage bands" from the age of 11. After seeing Doc & Merle Watson perform for freshman orientation at Appalachian State University, he taught himself to play acoustic guitar and started playing the coffeehouse circuit in North Carolina. He then joined Stoney Creek, a band that opened for Hall & Oates, The Doobie Brothers and Jimmy Buffett, before striking out on his own after graduation. Since his move to Nashville, Paul has played most of the clubs in the state as well as developing a southeastern college circuit where he currently performs to enthusiastic crowds, playing almost 200 dates a year! The influences to his music are as varied as the music itself. Playing the songs of the Beatles, Hendrix, the Doors and Yes early on, were the groundwork for later inspirations James Taylor, Doc Watson, Lowell George, Todd Rundgren and John Hiatt.

Don Middlebrook
Don MiddlebrookDon Middlebrook and Living Soul began a musical quest up and down the west coast of Michigan in 1991 with little idea of where it might lead. Always directed by a new song, a new adventure, and an occasional cold beer, what began as fun and frolic has turned into thirteen years of travel and musical bliss.

"Have you heard the legend of how Don stole Jimmy Buffett's TV Guide?"
Looking back over those last thirteen years, eight CDs have been recorded and over 150 dates played each year. Airplay has become commonplace, like that found at WCSX FM in Detroit, and internet web play has had international activity. Don and the band have performed on national radio with Mitch Albom and G. Gordon Liddy, and the last three years, they have toured and recorded with Greg "Fingers" Taylor, Jimmy Buffett's harmonica player for twenty-six years. In 2004, Don had two compositions in a Showtime original movie.

"I like my music like I like my oysters .... Raw!" - A1AJake

You know what they say what comes around goes around and it's got to start somewhere. My music is a mixture of the Alabama coast and the lower Keys with a touch of that Texas Rawness we love. I grew up and loved the sound singer/songwriter of the 70's. The music was simple, it was more about the song rather than the production. The lyrics had meaning and people could relate it to their own lives. But now the lyrics have gotten lost being the mass production of instrumentation I wanted to create the things that made you fall in love with this music. Instead of following in the footsteps, I want to recreate the ones that have been forgotten or washed away by the tide. Like the songs says "I like my music, I love my music, I like my music like I like my oysters....Raw!"

The 2008 Trop Rock "Band of the Year" - says Margarita Mafia

We started as a five-piece, Jimmy Buffett tribute act over seven years ago. We still play plenty of Buffett, but we are now a member of the Trop-Rock genre (bands that fans of Jimmy Buffett like to listen to) via our original music. Our first album, titled "This Ain't Duval Street," sold over 2,500 copies and is still available on our website. Our second album has been released on Little Feat's Hot Tomato Records label and is now available at Hot Tomato's website. It will be available at amazon.com, VH1.com, Barnes&Noble, Best Buy, etc... Both albums are receiving airplay on Radio Margaritaville (Sirius 31), and various local radio stations throughout the U.S. We are now a seven-piece band, sometimes adding an extra musician or two. We have opened for Jimmy and played with several members of his band. We tour throughout the Mid-West, with some national trips scattered in each year.
