Pholks at the Nashville Margaritaville got a surprise visit from Jimmy Buffett Thursday night Dec 2 2010. Also with Jimmy were Mac McAnally and Will Kimbrough. Some of the songs they did were ‘It’s My Job’, ‘Nobody From Nowhere’, ‘Wings’, ‘Son Of A Son Of A Sailor’, ‘Pirate Looks At Forty’, ‘West Nashville Grand Ballroom Gown’, ‘Fins’, (some other songs I forget
) and they closed the show with the Parrothead anthem ‘Margaritaville’. Jimmy also told some stories about his previous failed show biz careers in Nashville and other misc short stories. Before ‘west/nash/ball/gown’ Jimmy asks if anybody knows the mating call of a southern belle. Answer – “Y’all, I’m drunk!!!” Surprise show lasted about 1 1/2+ hour then “Elvis” left the building.
