Hangouts
The PHiNs can be found hangin-out and/or having our monthly Happy Hours or board meetings at some of the places listed below. (Other hangouts to be added later.)
“All we was doin’ was a hangin’
and little Koochie kept sangin’
Mama I’m guilty of hangin’ out”

Barefoot Charlie’s (Sander’s Ferry Rd and Main St in Hendersonville) was founded by a group of like minded misfits, weary of the same old O’Chili-bee’s chain mentality, wary of the flip-flop-free bistro bandwagon, and wanting a not-so-greasy spoon. We were looking for our lost shakers of salt and somewhere kicked-back, laid-back, and out-back to sip a cocktail (or three) with fellow rat racers ready to trade their cube view or corner office for a lakeside sunset. If you’re wishin’ you were fishin’, or reaching for the beach, you’ll find it at Barefoot Charlie’s.
We’ve got a mouth watering island-style menu with portions as big as the smile on your server’s face served in our relaxed tropical dining room or on our waterside patio with a resort lounge where you can truly put your feet up and admire gorgeous Old Hickory Lake views. Want someplace to show off the new tattoo of the “Mexican Cutie”? Join us for indoor shuffleboard and grab a cold beverage from our full service bar where the big game is always on TV. Don’t worry, we can leave the umbrella out of your drink if it makes you feel more manly. For more info visit http://barefootcharlies.net/ or click here for a map.
Blue Moon Lagoon (Rock Harbor Marina off the I-40 White Bridge Rd/Robertson Ave exit in west Nashville) A floating restaurant and bar on the Cumberland River. The menu includes mixed drinks, wine, beer, burgers, BBQ, chicken, pasta, salads, fish and seafood. In the summer, when there’s heavy traffic at the marina, there will often be valet parking available. At other times please do not park in the slip owners’ reserved parking spaces. (They might have you towed away.) Walk down the ramp toward the marina, when you step onto the marina office’s barge, take a sharp left and follow the dock over to the Blue Moon Lagoon. If you arrive by boat there is dock space right at the restaurant to tie up while you are there. For more info visit http://www.bluemoonlagoontn.com/ or click here for a map.
Dan McGuiness Pub (Demonbreun St at Music Circle in west Nashville) By creating a warm Irish atmosphere, with a combination of great food and friendly service, Dan McGuinness Pub has become the place to be. Our menu offers many Irish dishes, but also many American favorites. From the younger crowds that come in for the late night music, to the older groups that come in for Happy Hour, Dan McGuinness Pub offers a wide variety of entertainment for all ages. For more info call 615-252-1991, visit http://www.danmcguinnesspub.com/nashville/ or click here for a map.
Previous Happy Hour locations
This is a map of some locations where we have had club Happy Hours/meetings/events since our club was formed in 2003. I can not remember all of the locations where we have held our meeting but this map probably shows over half of them. The markers are placed close to the locations and you can click them to read the name. You can zoom and move the map around. If you don’t see a location we have been to let me know and I will add it to the map.
