Peter Mayer and friends will be performing at The Rutledge at 410 4th Avenue South, Nashville, TN. Peter will “get by with a little help” from some of his Coral Reefer friends, as they perform songs from Peter’s latest “Goodbye Hello” CD, as well as favourites from his other CDs. The Rutledge seats just 250, is two blocks from downtown Nashville “concert ground zero” and is an easy walk from several downtown hotels. May 1 Saturday afternoon pre-show party 12:00 Noon thru 6:30 PM
Rippy’s Smokin’ Bar & Grill on the corner of 5th & Broadway. (200 feet from the arena) We’ve got a huge party room upstairs with access to a rooftop patio overlooking Broadway’s Honky Tonk Row and The Sommet (Bridgstone) concert venue. DJ Jeff Allen from Beach Front Radio will spin Trop Rock and Party Tunes all afternoon and is loaded up with great prizes & give-aways! $10 entry (at door only, no pre-sale) gets you a raffle ticket and wristband for our private event. Cash bar with Landshark Lager (and maybe Margaritaville Rum if the special order gets delivered) and kitchen open all afternoon. 
Chinese Auction for Parrothead gift baskets containing things like t-shirts, trop-rock CDs and other items with proceeds to benefit the Nashville Rescue Mission for the homeless. *Coral Reefers* Nadirah, Ilo, Peter, Jim and Doyle will hang out, sign autographs and take pictures with us for an hour long Meet-N-Greet before the concert!

Birthday Bash SUCCESS 
Approximately 100 pholks attended and had a good time hangin’ out and listening to Tall Paul, Milan Miller and Howard Livingston play some good music. Music City PHiNs ‘Brunch with Santa’ at Barefoot Charlie’s Dec 13 2009. Our parrothead club members donated toys and Santa delivered them in a boat (on a trailer) to the Good Samaritan charity of Hendersonville, TN. The toys were given to needy kids in middle Tennessee. Music for the day was provided by Mat Britain and his steel drums.
The Music City PHiNs ParrotHead club Christmas Party and December Happy Hour will be ‘Brunch with Santa’ on Sunday, December 13, 11AM thru 2PM at Barefoot Charlie’s in Hendersonville, TN. (Click for map) There will be a steel drum band in the background to set the light hearted mood for the day, Santa will be taking Christmas wishes and handing out goodies for the kids and they will have a donation bin for toys, to be donated to the less fortunate little ones. (They originally said the toys would go to the ‘Toys for Tots’ foundation but later said the toys would be distributed by ‘The Good Samaritan Group’ local charity. Either way the toys will go to needy kids.) The brunch menu not only includes classic bacon-n-egg style breakfasts, but also a couple of signature dishes that you won’t find at other brunches. The Titans game will be on screens around the restaurant and drink specials include Bud Lt. & Miller Lt. drafts for only $1.50!
